Have you ever wondered what scientists actually do? Come and meet real research scientists for a fun and exciting day. Talk to them about anything you want and find out what it is really like to work in a lab. See some of their equipment and maybe even have a go at some of their techniques!

Every day during weekends and school holidays, our enthusiastic team of Gallery Enablers will lead one of our interactive object handling sessions. 

For more information on the session running on the day of your visit, please ask a Gallery Enabler once you have arrived.

Join one of our lively Gallery Enablers for an exciting session looking at a variety of fossils and replicas of ancient animals. From the ferocious sabre toothed Smilodon to the largest shark to ever live, we have the evidence for you to handle and investigate.
