	Birmingham Astronomical Society BAS holds meetings every Wednesday at Aston University, with a lecture on the last Tuesday of the month, as well as regular public meetings, talks and events around the city. A well-equipped workshop for lens grinding & aluminising, and an extensive library of astronomy and space science books are available. 	Birmingham University Astronomical Society We are an active and lively student society dating back to the 1950s, and as such one of the oldest societies at the University. We meet regularly every Thursday during term time for observing, often at the University's Observatory at Wast Hills. 	Bromsgrove Astronomical Society We cater for local astronomers of all ages and experience, from highly seasoned amateurs to those without telescopes. So don't feel intimidated to pop along one evening: every third Monday at the Bromsgrove Rugby Club in Finstall, starting at 8pm. 	Coventry and Warwickshire Astronomical Society The society meets once a month, normally on the second Friday of each month. Please look up meeting dates under Calendar on our website. Meetings start at 7.15pm at Earlsdon Methodist Church Hall, Earlsdon Avenue South, Earlsdon, Coventry. CV5 6NF. Light refreshments are available.
	Knowle Astronomy Society We normally meet on the first Monday of the month, avoiding holidays. Please check Events and Meetings for relevant dates on our website. Meetings start at 8.00pm at St. George and St. Teresa RC Church Hall, 337 Station Road, Dorridge, SOLIHULL, B93 8EZ. Light refreshments are available.
	Midlans Spaceflight Society A group of space flight enthusiasts predominantly based in the West Midlands. The aim of the MSS is to distribute information on space exploration activities from around the world, including historical ventures and future plans. This is achieved generally through its newsletter CapCom, which is published 6 times per year, but also through our website and through our active discussion forum.
	The Planetary Society UK The Planetary Society is the largest public space organization on Earth, dedicated to exploring the solar system and seeking life beyond Earth. Projects include SETI, Mars exploration, solar sail spacecraft, extrasolar planet research and public education and outreach. 	Rugby and District Astronomical Society The Society has flourished since inception in 2007 and has a full programme of meetings with guest speakers, summer outings, and observation evenings throughout the year. 	Stratford upon Avon Astronomical Society Established society active in the Coventry and Warwickshire area. Club nights on the second Wednesday of each month, involving observing, discussions and mini talks. Main lectures held on the fourth Tuesday of each month, normally delivered by prominent professional astronomers who are also good science communicators. 	Walsall Astronomical Society The Society was formed in 1997, and holds meetings most Thursdays at Rushall Olympic Football Club off Dales Lane, Rushall, Walsall. The Rushall site offers very good seeing (weather permitting) with members often bringing their own equipment, help is always on hand from the more experienced members. 	Wolverhampton Astronomical Society Formed in 1951, the Society holds meetings at 19:30 on alternate Mondays at The Environmental Centre, Highfileds Science Specialist School, Boundary Way, Wolverhampton. The site offers good seeing and observations are held prior to meetings using personal or Society equipment.
